Meyaard Tolman & Venlet p.c.'s expertise ranges from basic tax management and accounting services to more in-depth services such as audits, financial statements, and financial planning.

Meyaard Tolman & Venlet p.c. is dedicated to meeting these goals with high standards of excellence and professionalism.
Our Team
Glenn Meyaard, CPA, started the firm on July 1, 1985. He had previously been a partner in another CPA firm for sixteen years. Glenn has completed nearly forty years in combined public and industrial accounting, and is currently the firm’s managing partner.

Jayne E. Venlet, CPA, was admitted as a firm owner in January, 1997, subsequent to her working with the firm for over six years. Jayne has also had over seven years experience in service and industrial accounting. Jayne’s expertise lies in the areas of accounting and auditing, working with many of the firm’s nonprofit organizations.

Charles D. Olszewski, CPA, joined the firm in September, 2000, after approximately seventeen years with a Grand Rapids CPA firm. He has over twenty-five years experience providing accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services to a variety of clients, with an emphasis on not-for-profit organizations. He was admitted as a partner in the firm in 2004.

Jerry L. Broekhuis, CPA, MST, joined the firm in late 2003, and was admitted as a partner on July 1, 2005. Jerry gained much of his taxation expertise employed with international manufacturing corporations. Coupled with Jerry’s many years of public accounting experience, his knowledge lends a unique perspective to the multitude of federal and state tax issues that arise on a continual basis.

In September, 2006, John P. Rosendall, CA, CPA, joined the firm as a specialist in the accounting and auditing area, and was admitted as a partner July 1, 2008. Prior to joining the firm, John has spent seven years with a large regional certified public accounting firm, working with a wide variety of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. John’s work history also includes employment with another Grand Rapids firm, as well as a Canadian public accounting firm, for a total of over twenty years of accounting experience.
